The TriSonica™ Mini Wind and Weather Sensor is compact, lightweight, and efficient. It is the world’s smallest and lightest 3D ultrasonic anemometer. It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet it is a powerful and highly accurate tool engineered for atmospheric monitoring, weather reporting, and ecosystem research.
Its size and featherweight profile make it perfect for unmanned aerial systems (UAS), while the fact that it has no moving parts, thus eliminating maintenance issues, enables it to be stationed on fixed or portable towers for real-time 3-dimensional air flow measurements.
Available in two configurations: standard flat base, or now with the convenience of a pipe-mount base. Pipe-mount base will accommodate any 1/2″ DN15 Schedule 10 pipe. Wiring (with 12-pin circular connector) runs on the interior of the pipe further protecting components and streamlining your installation. Either way, deployment is quick and easy.

TriSonica™ Mini Wind & Weather Sensor with flat base
The TriSonica™ Mini Wind & Weather Sensor is the world’s smallest and lightest 3D ultrasonic anemometer. In addition to wind speed, direction, and temperature, the TriSonica Mini Wind & Weather Sensor can report the compass heading relative to the device (magnetic heading), the moisture borne in the wind (relative humidity), the density of the air (pressure), dew point, and the angle of the wind (pitch and roll, up to a 15° tilt).
The same features and functionality you have come to expect in the TriSonica Mini Wind & Weather Sensor, but now with the convenience of a pipe-mount base. The pipe-mount base will accommodate any 1/2″ DN15 Schedule 10 pipe. Wiring runs on the interior of the pipe further protecting components and streamlining your installation. The pipe-mount version of our device uses a 12-Pin circular connector, brings out the RS-422 signals, plus the trigger signal to synchronize multiple instruments.

The TriSonica Mini Wind & Weather Sensor is lightweight, rugged, and highly accurate, making it the perfect choice for fixed installations or UAS/drone deployments.
TriSonica™ Sphere Wind Flux Sensor
The Sphere wind flux sensor was developed to address the growing demand for a compact, lightweight, 3D sonic anemometer that can accurately and precisely measure vertical wind velocity. Specifically engineered to deliver more precise vertical wind measurements coupled with fast sampling rates (up to 50 Hz), the TriSonica Sphere is ideal for UAS-based atmospheric ux and turbulence research, including Eddy Covariance studies.
